Unsolicited Application

Please begin by watching the following video tutorial.
Further down the page you will find a complete step-by-step breakdown of the tutorial.

If you wish to receive unsolicited applications, Talent Recruiter sometimes already has a department for this:

If not, it is our recommendation that a new department for unsolicited applications is created. In this department adjustments are made to the e-mail confirmation sent out to the candidates as well as the text that is on the application form.

In order to receive unsolicited applications, you need to create a new project on the specific department for ‘Unsolicited applications’. Navigate to the department to the left and click ‘New project’ here or here:

On the first tab "project details" enter a Project name – this will be the name of the unsolicited project on the job list:

You do not need to enter a deadline for applications, nor do you need to decide on the other fields in the project information:

Select available application languages - these are the languages available for the candidate on the application form. In addition, add any project participants who should have access to see the candidates.

Under ’Other options’ select the project type ‘Unsolicited’ then click Save & Next:

If you want to be able to sort the candidates by specific competencies, desired job types or locations, you can create a questionnaire. See more in the video "Questionnaire" for a detailed guide:

Under the tab ‘Advertisement’ you need to create an ‘empty advertisement’ in order to publish your unsolicited project. Once the candidate clicks on the link ‘Unsolicited application’ on the job list, the advertisement is skipped and not shown, and the candidate will go directly to the application form. Therefore simply click ‘Add new advertisement’, scroll down to the bottom and click ‘Save’:

Since it is the publishing period that determines whether the project is shown on your job list or not, the date range should be set from today's date and far into the future. For example, it may be 10 years ahead so that the project is not unpublished by mistake.

Select the media "Homepage" and click on the blue "Publish" button:

You have now published "Unsolicited applications" and the link will appear in your job list here:

If you encounter any issues with having the project shown on your job list, do not hesitate to reach out to our support team.
