Please begin by watching the following video tutorial.
Further down the page you will find a complete step-by-step breakdown of the tutorial.
“Application Redirection” allows Talent Recruiter to distribute the candidates from a main project to other projects.
It works in the following way: The main project and its associated advertisement are published in the usual way, but the advertisement redirects the candidate to a variety of positions, corresponding to other projects in the system. For example, the positions may have some similiarities but vary in work location or position type.
Application Redirection is commonly used in order to make candidate lists more transparent to those who must evaluate the candidates.
To clarify, here is an example:
From the advertisement of the main project, the candidate clicks ‘Apply' and is then redirected to the list of sub-projects.
From here the candidates select which positions they wish to apply for. When clicking on the project, they are sent directly to the application form for the selected position.
Start by creating all the required projects:
You need to create a main project and the additional sub-projects, that your candidates will be redirected to:
Please note:
All projects must be located in the same department for “Application Redirection” to work:
All projects should have the same application due:
All the projects need to have the setting ”Enable application redirection” activated. This is found on the first tab “Project Details”:
Redirect applications from the main project
The intention is to publish the main project and have all the candidates redirected to sub-projects. Therefore, on the main project, in the “Application Redirection” tab, check the box “Don’t allow applications for this project”. The list of all projects with “Application Redirection” enabled in that specific department will now be visible:
Checkmark the projects you wish to redirect candidates to. Remember to click save to activate the redirection:
Publish the main project to the required medias:
Let us just summarize how this is going to appear for the candidate.
The candidate applies for the position through the advertisement of the main project and is then redirected to the list, where they can choose which sub-project to apply for.
The candidate will then be found on the Candidate List for the sub-project they have applied for.
You have now been introduced to “Application Redirection” and how it enables your organization to distribute candidates from a main project to other projects.
