Are you experiencing problems submitting your application? Try the solutions below before contacting the recruiter for help!
1. Check that you have the correct file type
In order for your files/documents such as CV or Personal letter to be uploaded, it must be the correct file type. Different companies have different accepted file types. You can see which file types are approved for your application in the box where you upload nice files, see examples below.
You can see which file type your document is either by the file name. Often the file is named "name.filetype", for example: "Cv.pdf" Then the file type is PDF. You can also see the file type by right-clicking on the file and pressing "more info".
We recommend uploading the files in PDF format if you have the opportunity, as it usually works best. You can specify which file type a document should be saved in when you save it, or there are tools online to convert files to PDF.
Google: "Convert File to PDF Free" and you will find pages that can help you convert most file types to PDF.
NB!
If you wrote in a form instead of attaching a file and then get a message that information is missing but is mandatory. Try clicking on Register/Save again and it should work to submit the application:
2. Change browser or use incognito mode in the browser
Sometimes there may be something in your browser that prevents the application from being submitted, so try submitting your application in another browser. Below are examples of the most common browsers that you can test
Chrome | Microsoft Edge | FireFox | Safari |
Incognito / private mode is a function found in most browsers today and means that you surf without cookies being saved. You can therefore try submitting the application in this mode and see if it works better then. To find out how to turn on this mode google:
"How to browse in private / incognito mode with Enter your browser"
(example: How do I browse in private / incognito mode with Chrome?)
3. Clear cache and/or refresh browser
If you do not have the opportunity to change browsers, or the problem occurs in all of your browsers, it may be because your browser has cookies saved from other websites that interfere with cooperation with our website, or it may be because the browser is not updated to the latest version.
For more information on how to clear your browser's cache, google:
"Clear the Cache in the browser you are using"
(example: Clear cache in safari) Then you will get instructions on how to proceed.
For more information on how to update your browser, google:
"Update the browser you are using"
(example: update Microsoft Edge) You will then receive instructions on how to update your browser.
4. If you have the opportunity, try submitting the application from another computer
If none of the above works, you can, if you have the opportunity, try submitting the application from another computer. It could be that your computer is not updated correctly or that you have an anti-virus program or a firewall that prevents the upload from working properly.
