Questionnaire

Please begin by watching the following video tutorial.

Further down the page you will find a complete step-by-step breakdown of the tutorial.

When you create a project, you can choose to add a questionnaire to the application form.

You can do this in two ways:

You can use a pre-defined questionnaire – that is, a complete questionnaire, which you have created in advance in the ‘questionnaire module’ in the administration. Click ‘Use Pre-defined questionnaire’ and choose your questionnaire from the list:

You can also choose to create a questionnaire that is project specific.

Click ‘Create questionnaire/Select questions for archive’:

Enter a name – this is an internal name, that will only be displayed in the system.

If filled out, the description will be displayed on the application form and can be used to introduce the questions:

Click ‘Save’

You are now ready to begin adding questions for your questionnaire.

If you have created question archives in the questionnaire module in Administration, you can choose questions from archives by clicking ‘Choose from archive’:

You can also choose to create new questions:

Question types

There are several types of questions that you can choose from when creating a questionnaire:

  • Yes/no. Gives you two possible answers (yes/no - true/false). The candidate can only choose one answer.
  • Rate Question – Must be specified in an evaluation interval. For instance, a candidate can assess a specific competence on a scale from 1 to 5.
  • Free text question – The candidate can fill in their own text.
  • Single Selection question – Only one answer can be selected.
  • Multiple Selection question – Multiple answers can be selected.
  • Priority Selection question – The candidate can prioritize the given statements.
  • Combination question – The candidate can add more answers within various categories.
  • Video question – The candidate must answer the question by recording a video response.

Creating a question

When you have saved your questionnaire, you can start creating questions. Select the type of question you want to create. As an example, we will create a yes/no-question. In the Text field, write the question you wish to ask the candidate.

Yes/No is already pre-defined, but you can edit the answers and add multiple options:

‘Weight’ gives you the option to define which answers have the highest weight. When you apply weight on every question in a questionnaire, you can get an overall questionnaire score from every candidate, but it will often be easier to filter candidates based on their answers. This will be explained in the guide ‘Candidate assessment’:

You have the option to create sub-questions for every answer by clicking create and choose here. Remember to click ‘save’, when you have created a sub-question:

‘Allow custom answer’ gives the candidates the option to add their own answers:

‘Is Required’ makes the question mandatory to answer and the candidate will not be able to send the application without having answered the question:

Click ‘save’ to save the question:

You will now see that the question is saved at the bottom of the page and you can choose to add more - click save again:

From here you will see that your questionnaire is associated with the application form:

You have the option to edit and delete it here:

Below you will have the option to select which of your questions should be shown as columns on the candidate list. This allows the option to filter the answers.

Click ‘save and next’ in the bottom to proceed to the next tab:
