Further down the page you will find a complete step-by-step breakdown of the tutorial.

In ‘Communication’ it is possible to customize the email templates that are sent out to the candidates.

If you want your changes to apply for all departments, make sure you are on the root department before you start customizing the templates:

Also make sure that the second drop-down says ‘Default department templates’:

The list shows two tabs: ‘Candidate’ and ‘System’. The email templates that you send to the candidates from a recruitment project will be those listed in the ‘Candidate’ tab:

If you want to edit a template, click on the small note-icon to the right. If more than one language is activated in the system, you will see a column with note icons per language. Click on the icon for the language you wish to edit:

In the second drop-down menu you will be able to see which candidate status is associated with the template. This is the status the candidate will be assigned, when the email has been sent:

You can change the ‘Template name’ here and the ‘Email subject’ here:

If you wish to edit the text, you can do it here:

You can also change font and size here:

Be careful when removing the variables - meaning the text with the square brackets - because they will automatically fill data from the system, when the email is sent:

Click ’Save’ in the bottom right to save your changes.
