Creating a Social Media ad in Talent Recruiter

Intro

In this article, we will guide you through creating an ad for Talentech Social Media Ads.

Social Media Ads is Talentech's publishing service that allows you to create and publish your adverts to social media (Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram) and find better candidates by promoting your job through sponsored campaigns. All directly through your recruitment system. We help you to easily create these campaigns without the hassle of contacting a partner, make an agreement or having to use yet another product.

How do I create a new ad for Social Media Ads?

Add your images

First, make sure that you have added the images you would like to have available for your ad. This is done in the "Job Posting" module in the administration:

Choose "Add an image" and upload your image:

For Social Media Ads, make sure to always choose "Square (1:1) as image type:

Once you have uploaded your images here, they will be available when you create your ad in your recruitment project.

Create your ad!

Go to the"Advertisement" tab on the recruitment project you would like to publish for.

Then, choose "Social Media Ads":

The editor will now unfold and you can add your information:

Location

This field helps you target relevant candidates by showing the ad to those who are in a 50-80 kilometer radius from the location. You can add more locations by comma separating.

Invoice reference

This is for internal use only and can be an email address, a name, or other.

Category

Position category is used to target relevant candidates.

Ad title

The ad title is for internal use only.

Post text

Write a brief introduction to the position. Unsure of what to write? Read our guide here!

apply_url

Choose whether you would like to redirect the candidate to your advertisement page where they can read more or directly to the application form when they click "Apply now".

Job title

Add the title of the position here.

Subtitle

Add brief, relevant information about the job, for example the location,  whether this is onsite, remote, or hybrid work or full time/part time.

Image

Choose an image from the dropdown menu to get a preview.

Preview your ad

Once you have filled out the relevant information, save your ad to get a preview of how it will look on social media.

Once you publish your ad, it will be live after one hour for 21 days. You can edit your ad for 24 hours after publishing free of charge.
