Analytics

Intro

Analytics gives an overview of their organization and answer to the most common HR KPI’s in an accessible overview with the possibility of drilling down in all numbers. It also provides high level statistics on most data added to People Core.


How does it work?

The following sections are included:

  • High level KPI’s
    - Headcount. Number of employees with an active employment assigned to a position.
    - Employee turnover. Percentage of employees with permanent or fixed-term employment who left the organization during the last 12 months. For example, if there were 100 employees at the start and 5 left, the turnover rate would be 5% (5/100).
    - Vacant positions. Number of vacant positions without employees assigned.
    - Average time of employment. Average length of employment for employees with permanent and fixed term employment.
    - Starting and leaving. Number of employees onboarding and offboarding in the organization.
    - Gender distribution. Gender distribution among the employees.

  • Workforce analysis and trends
    - Headcount development. Number of employees with active employment and who are assigned to a position over time.
    - Number of employees onboarding and offboarding in the organization over time.
    - Employment types. Employee distribution by employment types.
    - Departments. Employee distribution by departments.
    - Job categories. Employee distribution by job categories.

  • Employee retention section
    - Employee turnover. Percentage of employees with permanent or fixed-term employment who left the organization during the last 12 months.
    - Average time of employment. Average length of employment for employees with permanent and fixed term employment.
    - Average employment time of former employees. Average length of employment among employees who left before the selected date.
    - Average time of employment trend chart. Average length of employment for employees with permanent and fixed term employment over time.
    - Average time of employment trend chart. Average length of employment for employees with permanent and fixed term employment.
    - Reasons for resignation. Reasons why employees leave the organization. 

  • Diversity section
    - Gender distribution among the employees.
    - Gender distribution among the non-managerial employees.
    - Gender distribution among the managers.
    - Gender distribution over time.
    - Age distribution.

  • Statistics based on leaders
    - Number of employees reporting to the manager.
    - Department belonging.
    - Gender distribution in manager’s team.

Filters

  • Organization
    - Department

    - Legal entity

Other functionality

  • Select date. Default this view will show data for current date. You can also see how data in the organization looked at a specific date back in time by selecting a date in the past. You can also get a prognosis of the future based on data that is already in the system, for example if you have scheduled changes to your employees this will also be included in the Analytics view. 

  • Customize your view. A user can customize their own Analytics view by re-arranging the components to their own liking and hide content not relevent for them. Re-arrange by clicking Customize and Edit layout. Hide content by clicking the three dots on a specific chart. This will be remembered for this user next time the user goes into Analytics view. The original layout and content can be shown again by clicking Restore original view.  

  • Export the entire Analytics dashboard or chosen graphs as pdf or jpg by clicking “More actions” in the top left.
