People Core and GDPR

You can rely on People Core managing your employee data in a GDPR compliant way.

You don't have to remember to delete data by yourself, as it's completelt taken care of by the GDPR compliant set up in the system.

All employee data is stored for the duration of the employment of each individual employee.

When an employee is marked as resigned, the deletion policy starts, which means that the employee and all data related to her, such as personal data and uploaded documents, will be stored People Core for two years after the last work day. Until the last working day you will see the employee with status “Resigning” in the People list. After the last working day you will find this employee if you change the filter in People list to show resigned employees. 


During these two years, you can re-hire the employee and have all the data back in the system when re-hired. This functionality makes it easy to manage employees with seasonal employments, such as winter or summer hirings, as well as the employees coming back after regretting leaving you in the first place!

After the two years, the employee data, including all personal data, is deleted in accordance with GDPR.
