Hire and GDPR

Hire is a functionality available in ReachMee that gives you a seamless digital workflow for creating and signing contracts with new employees. This means you will be saving more data on the candidates that you intend to hire. So how does ReachMee help you be compliant with GDPR while handling this sensitive data. 


Encryption and logging 

All the data that is handled within Hire is encrypted in the database and is unreadable without the encryption key. So even in the very unlikely event of a data breach the data saved within Hire will be unreadable. 


All access to the information in Hire is logged. This means that every view and update is logged and our support team can see for example who has seen any information on a candidate or who changed a template. 


Cleaning data 

As part of Hire we have also introduced two new cleaning policies for Hire. You can find the settings for this if you have the right access object under Admin > Hire 




The first option will let you set how long after a document has been signed by all parties it will be deleted. You can set this interval between 2 and 6 months. You will need to download the completed contract from within Hire before this period or the document will be lost. 


The second option will let you set how long after an unsigned document has been updated it will be deleted. You can set this interval between 2 and 6 months. This is how long candidates can remain within Hire without being updated in anyway (no new information added or not signed by any one).
