Defining the process - the right steps for your needs

All recruitments in ReachMee are done through projects. If you have the right access rights you can create a new project by following the guides below, we'll go through all the steps of creating a project in a few different articles:

  • Create a project
  • Define the recruitment process (you're here)
  • Create the perfect job ad
  • How to define the best questions
  • Publish the job ad

ReachMee has a very well thought out support for your recruitment process that enables you to adapt it to your needs. You can define a process for specific recruitment, create templates for general use as well as to have your own processes for your specific projects.

There are a few things that are important to think about when managing the recruitment process and these are our top 3:

Manage folders
There are a few ways to manage folders but the easiest way might be to go to "Manage folders" under the "Description" menu, check the picture below. If you want to apply a template you can chose to do so under "Common templates" or "Private templates".
You can also create new folders for a specific project that where you have a special need

Create a folder
When creating a folder you should think about if it should be broadly available to everyone using the system or if it's just for you. It's also important to think about naming so that it's clear what the specific folder is for and to write a comment to let other users know how to use it.
You can also attach documents to a specific folder that gives further instructions

Create a process event
Saving one of the most important parts of creating a folder for last, you need to tell ReachMee what happens in this folder. This is done via the process events that are chosen in the third tab when you create a new folder.
If you forget this statistics will be very hard to read as ReachMee can't understand what the different folders do.

Tips and ideas

  • If all participants get a notification about all events they will get a lot of emails!
  • Process events tell ReachMee that something has happened
You might want one folder that is for all candidates that are to be interviewed and one that are for those who have been interviewed
  • Never, and I mean never, apply a new template in an ongoing project
This will cause all candidates in the project to be moved back to the first step!
