Close the project

All recruitments in ReachMee are done through projects. If you have the right access rights you can create a new project by following the guides below, we'll go through all the steps of creating a project in a few different articles:

  • Create a project
  • Define the recruitment process
  • Create the perfect job ad
  • How to define the best questions
  • Publish the job ad
  • Closing the project (you are here)

You have published the ad, recieved candidates and handled them accordingly. When you are done recruiting for your project, it's time to close down the project. This is not a mandatory task, but we do higly recommend closing projects once they are done. The background for this is that you get a more orderly overview over active and closed projects and you can with ease distinguish between ongoing and completed recruitment processes.

There is no indication when filtering on All projects wether the projects are active or closed, but if you do close your projects once their done you will be able to filter on closed and active projects in the overwiew;

Now over to how you it; inside your project on the bottom of the menu on the left hand side, you find the "Close project" option;

In the screenshot above you can see the name on the candidate we have chosen to hire. You can also see that there is a warning message in the yellow box, stating that we still have active candidates in the project. To close a project, all candidates will have to recieve a "final" status, which are one of the following;

If there are candidates which are still active, they need to be handled and given on of these 4 statuses before you can close the project. You can click the text that says "Handle active candidates" to do this, and can then choose which status the candidates should receive and also choose if you would like to send them an email;

When all actvice candidates are handled, the project can be closed. you will then see that this "Closed" marker appears and you are done;
